This is a lightweight, well-made kit bag, that fits a lot into a compact space. And it's good-looking, too. I got the purple, which is darker than pastel, but a gentle, cheerful color.This would be great bag for its intended purpose: travel. If you're a the sort (like moi) who packs a lot of cosmetics and toiletries, this is a great asset. It would fit a ton and easily fit under a plane seat, with room to spare.But here's what I use it for:I take a lot of meds and supplements, and need a place to store all the clumsy, ugly, giant Costco vitamin bottles, extra months of meds, supplies, etc.I took out the two removable bags, and use one to keep a one-month stock handy, ready for sorting into my pill box. I use the other for travel.The main case holds *several months* of supplies, and is stowed neatly in the closet. It's so easy to have everything consolidated into one, easily portable, unmedicinal-looking bag.This also saves me a ton of drawer/cabinet place. I'm amazed at how much I can stuff in this bag, which at first glance seemed disappointingly smaller than I'd pictured, especially given the price.I am planning on getting another to store my sewing supplies. I'm not a big sewer or craftsperson, so I don't have a fixed place for sewing projects. Moreover, I have very little storage space in my apartment, and struggle to find a place for my big sewing box -- it usually sits somewhere, in the way, even if I don't use it for weeks or months at a time.Between the large top compartment, the side pockets and the two removable bags, this bag fit a ton in an organized way, and be easy to move from closet to workspace.
