Love this thing, does exactly what it's supposed to do. I can walk away from my computer without worrying about my stupid Teams light going yellow. You can see it move across the screen if you look carefully. My only issue is that it will sometimes jump in the middle of my trying to create a new folder and I have to start over, but that's the only issue I've had with it. I use a USB splitter and just turn it off when I'm going to be at my computer for a long period of time (when I remember). It shows up as "mouse" when you plug it in, not "mouse jiggler" like some have noted. Totally worth the $6.This does the trick for keeping my work computer from shutting down. Our IT department has out computers not only lock after 2 minutes of inactivity, but they also go to sleep. Waking up the computer and getting everything up and running again literally takes 1-2 minutes. This was so much wasted time and frustration during the work day. But no more!Using this on a linux based machine that remotes into a windows based server client.Machine requires a reboot after inserting to start working for me, but after that, it works great and shows up as a USB pointer device.Mouse pointer moves 1-2 pixels (sometimes left, sometimes right) every 3-4 seconds.I was worried that I was going to have issues with clicking on small check boxes, but it has not been an issue, and others that have used the machine have not complained about it either.Wanted to use it a little before I wrote a review, and I am impressed. Cheap little gadget that works wonders... now i can do laundry or clean up around the house on my down time with out my computer going to sleep and missing important work calls.This little gadget came quickly and installed in seconds. Fair price for the value it provides - would recommend for anyone that has an annoying laptop or desktop that they have to continue to sign in on after three minutes of inactivity.just remember to unplug it and plug it back in when you start up your computer. no software is needed. once it’s plugged in, you’re good to go! great for remote workersWorks great! Now I don’t have to type in a password every five minutes to wak up my computer at work! Highly recommend this product.Only minor issue I've noticed is that it needs to be unplugged and reconnected upon rebooting, mainly annoying because I would plug it in the back. Otherwise it's wonderful and keeps me from having to jiggle my mouse to keep the company from locking the screen during meetings.This USB dongle mouse jiggler is amazing! It does what it promises.You get the result without having to initiate an installation or adding software (its automatically installed), and it stops the computer looking idle and going into locked /sleep mode. Theres no way of knowing its working other than leaving a computer that requires a log in once goes idle with this mouse jiggler plugged into the USB socket. Leave it however long it normally would go idle and need this and then return: Amazing no idle mode, no having to log in each time you leave too much time between uses!!!Obviously this is only for home use where it is secure and not in workplace where someone could use your computer if you went to lunch etc but for home use this is such a boon. Passwords from workplaces are sooo long!The price is half that other one but this one doesn't have an on off button nor do the funny curser movements. So depends what you want.I would be very grateful if you could vote this as helpful if you found it so as I don't ask friends and family to do so. My ratings are real as based only on the kindness of strangers.I work on three computers at a time, one of them is a corporate one where I cannot change the short sleep policy and it gets irritating to have to wake it up and type the password every time. This does the job perfectly, simulating mouse movement to keep the computer awake. It loses one star as it is called "Mouse Jiggler" when it is installed, which some IT departments may frown upon; it would be better if it just appeared as a mouse.This is a fantastic little invention. Literally plug it into your laptop or PC and it stops the screen going to sleep. It means I can go down and grab a cup of tea without my PC showing me as "away from my desk" on my messenger. It does not interfere with my wireless mouse. I dont know how it works, I dont care - I just am so happy I found it. I wish I knew they existed 18 months ago when we started to work from home. Would highly recommend.If you have a stressful job and your boss has control issues, this little thing will be perfect for you. Out of 100s things I bought since/during pandemic, this has been my best purchase, I only wish I bought it earlier. Due to working in a bank all my systems go down after 15mins (I do not have admin rights to change the settings on messageners) and I used to work with some sick managers who kept checking on my skype status getting notifications whenever I left the desk. With the jiggler, in case I missed the msg being "online" the best explanations were: "I am not IT Hepdesk, no idea why I did not see your msg" or "I seem to have some tech issues after the last updates". The jiggler works well on work laptop, did not get any issues for using "external/not-bank owned devices". I obviously dont use it on the office machines. Luckily I moved teams and my current LM is normal and too busy for bs but I still use the jiggler as dont have to login/type passwords all the time, it saves my time.Dead easy. Put it into USB slot. Go ! I was dubious at first cause couldn't see how this would work on my laptop, but if u stare really hard at cursor, u can see it making tiny movements. In my work remote session this was put to the test when i went to shop..came back 1 hour later and still logged in !! Fab ! Only tiny thing to note, take it out when finished work, otherwise it drains battery when laptop closed. Cause its not sleeping. But simply plug into usb again next morning ! Great wee piece of kit
