Little to say about these cases, unless I recap the obvious. They are lightweight; fragile; front-door hinges easily broken. Out of the 10 in my pack, two had these hinge legs already broken and loose; one was cracked all the way across the front panel - clearly a direct hit in shipping (a cardboard leaf front & back would help here). So my initial attrition rate was 3/10. Then I broke the center (disc) panel on another trying to get the artwork leaf fully into the binder edge where it was on the case I was replacing - which being a ‘Label Original’ was a much nicer, stronger case. This cannot be done as the architecture of the all-left-hinge case is different from the case on the L/R hinge type. So now you must mess with the artwork to see if you can make it work; an unfortunate ‘hack.’Total attrition: 4-out of-10 trying to replace the one CD case I bought them for. But I was expecting all this going in, so now I have 6 Jewel Cases left to give to soon-to-be former friends.I am one of those ‘collector types’ and value my CD collection. If anyone out there knows of a good, factory-weight case out there, to be bought, please let me know.
